YE JAPHA

is the name of the kennel where Gaia was bred. It originates from ancient Egyptian mythology and means „the watchers“.
Oh yes, she is a watchdog. She defends those dear to her in a very convincing manner.

Gaia

is a name originating from Greek mythology. Gaia is an offspring of Eros, the god of heavenly love, the oldest god. She is the earth mother, the firmament, the starry heavens and the ancestral mother of all gods. She is the Beginning.
My Gaia is incredibly affectionate and cuddly and is friendly and open by nature.
And she is the beginning of iZangoma Kennel.

Xolani

is the Zulu word for „peace“.

Gaia doesn't like conflict. Since she has been with us, she has prevented any conflict between the tomcats. She also watches over the garden. Strange cats looking for a fight with my tomcats will be politely but firmly shown to the exit. She arbitrates conflicts and prefers harmony.
Gaia is the first quadruped companion that I have actively sought out. We enjoy a very strong connection. To me, she is like a shooting star.
