B-Litter Blog

As gorgeous and easily the birth of the iZangoma A-Litter has run, so sadly and hard fell the iZangoma B-Litter start. 14 of 15 puppies came into the world by Caesarean section, six puppies did not survive it. There wasn't left much time to mourn, because nine puppies and Gaia claimed my full attention during the critical period after a section birth. Now rest slowly calls in. Gaia takes good care of the little ones, is recovering well and has plenty of milk, so that despite of the heavy start all nine doubled their birth weight.
My six little iZangomas, I hope you had a good journey in the happy hunting grounds and have arrived to match the birthday party of your ancestors. I will not forget you!
